By teaching different levels of Gymnastics, children gain confidence as they progress through their skills. With each step, they become more confident in themselves and that carries over into all aspects of their other progress in life.
Gymnastics also helps to overcome fears, as there are some skills in Gymnastics that might seem scary and has to do with the fear of trying something that you have never done before. This helps to develop strategies to overcome things that children have seen as impossible, but overcome.
Gymnastics also provides an opportunity to develop social skills, as they learn how to stand in line, look, listen, be quiet when other are talking.
